In five movements, each depicting an aspect of Sykesville’s history.  Commissioned by Ms. Kay Tilden and the Sykesville Middle School Band Program for the 100th Anniversary of the Town of Sykesville.

Lime Kiln Overture

Written for the opening of Lime Kiln Middle School in Howard County, Maryland, incorporating many “hidden musical messages” about the opening of Lime Kiln to serve as a “musical time capsule” for the school.
